7/31/23: Glory to Jesus Christ!
We happily arrived in Lourdes, France around 6:00 PM after a long day of traveling by bus. Upon arrival, we quickly shuttled out as our Priests & Bishop made themselves available for confession outside of a beautiful (French) Greek Catholic Church. Divine Liturgy followed confessions, and afterwards we found ourselves exploring an extremely holy place!
We were able to wander about the town of Lourdes, see the Grotto, and visit the church that surrounds it. The Church itself was magnificent, and the mystical Grotto where Our Lady appeared was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. What was most impressive was the peace and consolation that exuded from the place itself. We ended our evening on a very high note, and walked with gratitude for Our Lady and our holy Mother Church!
