Currently the liturgical services of the Cathedral of the Eparchy of Parma will continue to be primarily held at our other two locations: Dormition of the Mother of God in Cleveland, OH, and Holy Spirit in Parma, OH.
Bishop Robert M. Pipta emphasizes that "While I hope that it is soon that the Eparchy will be ready to share its vision for the three-property Dormition Parish, which includes the Cathedral, my focus now is the faithful and active Dormition parishioners and benefactors who need immediate assistance in sustaining their vast campuses."
To help alleviate some of the financial strains on Dormition Parish, the Parish has been conducting a liquidation sale of furnishings, fixtures, appliances, etc., primarily from the old high school, at the property of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Proceeds from this sale will ensure that the Parish can continue to serve the community effectively.
Prior to the liquidation sale, all items for the Eparchial Museum were removed to another location to ensure that they would not be accidentally sold. Items for liturgical use were also excluded from the sale.
We appreciate your understanding and support during this time.
