MUNSTER, Ind. — Monsignor Frank Korba has been a priest of the Eparchy of Parma for 52 years, serving from one end of the eparchy to the other.
He was the rector of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Parma, Ohio, and later was pastor at St. Nicholas Parish in Munster, Indiana. Now retired, Monsignor Korba now benefits from the Stewardship Appeal, which funds retired priests’ health insurance.
The need for such funding has increased dramatically this past year, as the number of retired priests in the eparchy has jumped from nine to 16.
