BURTON, Ohio — The Shrine of Our Lady of Mariapoch
, 17486 Mumford Road, will host the annual eparchial pilgrimage Aug. 17-18. Bishop Milan Lach, SJ, of Parma will share in the pilgrimage with the faithful of the eparchy. He will give the evening teen and family talk around the campfire Aug. 17. He will also celebrate the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Sunday at 4 p.m. Once again this year, a Rosary to end abortion will be prayed at the outdoor Fatima Shrine Aug. 18 at 2:45 p.m.
Prior to the Rosary, well-known Catholic radio and television show host Dr. Ray Guarendi will give the keynote on the theme, “Laughter: The Sanity of Family.” Dr. Guarendi is also the father of 10 adopted children, a clinical psychologist, author and professional speaker. His radio show, “The Dr. Is In” can be heard on more than 440 stations and Sirius XM channel 130. His TV show, “Living Right With Dr. Ray,” airs on EWTN Global Catholic Network in 140 countries. A children’s activity will be offered during Dr. Guarendi’s presentation, so that parents can participate fully in the keynote. See the full pilgrimage program below.

Confession will be available at all times on Saturday and Sunday. Refreshments and meals are available in the cafeteria. The Eastern Treasures Gift Shop will be open. Families may camp on the shrine grounds, Thursday to Saturday nights.
