Join us on September 28, 2024, in Tinley Park, Illinois, as Bishop Robert M. Pipta takes the stage at our inaugural New Horizons luncheon. Born in Anaheim, California, Bishop Robert has dedicated his life to the Byzantine Catholic Church. Ordained in 1994, he served parishes across different states and contributed to liturgy and vocations. From 2014 to 2023, he was the rector at The Byzantine Catholic Seminary of Saints Cyril and Methodius. He was ordained as Bishop in 2023 and now serves as Bishop to the Eparchy of Parma.
The following week, on October 19, 2024, join us in Independence, Ohio for our annual Evening of Hope where Abouna Justin Rose, PhD will share his wisdom. Father Justin, a New Hampshire native, discovered the Melkite Church during his college years. Ordained to the priesthood in 1995, he served in various roles, including ministering to the poor and homeless in Harlem, NY. For two decades, he contributed to St. Philip Mission in San Bernardino, CA, while also teaching and co-founding the Melkite Association of Young Adults. His creative endeavors include music albums and a book titled “Come, Follow Me: A Byzantine Christian Approach to Disciple Making.” Currently, he serves as Pastor of St. George Church in Birmingham, AL, and is involved in theological education and vocation direction.
