A New Bishop is Appointed for Parma

Our Holy Father Pope Francis has appointed the Very Rev. Robert Mark Pipta as the sixth Bishop of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Parma of the Ruthenians. Bishop-elect Robert is a priest of Holy Protection of Mary Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Phoenix, and currently serves as rector of the Byzantine Catholic Seminary of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Please keep Bishop-elect Robert in your prayers as he prepares for his episcopal consecration and becomes the 6th Bishop of our Eparchy!
