As we near the end of this year’s Stewardship Appeal, Bishop Kurt addresses members of the Eparchy:
“By the grace of God, each of us possesses special gifts meant to glorify Him and His kingdom on Earth. We must be active in our faith, not merely watching from the sidelines or being satisfied sitting on the bench. We must be advocates. We must be doers. We must be leaders. As we continue our life in Christ, we know that it is only through the committed and faithful offering of ourselves, the time we have, the talents we possess, and the treasures we have acquired, that our Church will have vibrant and thriving ministries.
I am deeply appreciative of your past gifts. Each gift, when combined with the gifts of others, makes a real difference. I urge you to join your fellow Byzantine Catholics in supporting the Stewardship Appeal. As servants of Our Lord, we are asked to be grateful for what we receive, to be thankful for the abundance of God’s love and care.”
