This coming April, join us in celebrating the 125th anniversary of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Whiting, Indiana, with an eight-day retreat and pilgrimage to Mexico in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
This program is designed to offer pilgrims an experience of culture and faith, as well as moments for personal and community prayer in the Byzantine Catholic tradition. Similar to a pilgrimage and retreat offered in Fatima in 2017, in the first part of the program, pilgrims will learn about the local history, culture, church and society, so as to better understand the context in which the Mother of God appeared and reflect on the significance of her message during the days of retreat.
Our Byzantine Catholic Church in America joins with the entire American Catholic Church in commemorating Our Lady of Guadalupe as the Patroness of the Americas. We celebrate her feast on the 12th of December. Most Holy Theotokos, save us! Register
