St. Jude, also known as Thaddeus or Lebbeus, was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. He is believed to be the author of the Epistle of Jude in the New Testament. St. Jude is known as the patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes, and is often called upon for help in difficult situations. Jude preached in Edessa and the Mesopotamia region, healing many and converting believers.
His feast days are June 19 & August 21.
