The National ByzanTEEN Catholic Youth Rally, July 5-8, at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, has “Who is my Neighbor?” as its theme, inspired by Fred Rogers of “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood” fame was born in Latrobe. The program will emphasize the Gospel story of the Good Samaritan and include a “Rise Against Hunger” packing event. All four Byzantine Catholic bishops will be present for the Saturday evening liturgy. Other highlights include the nightly Byzantine Café, sports competition, prayer services, the opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation, and the Saturday night dance. Cost is $310, $25 late fee after June 1. Registration deadline is June 16. A bus for Latrobe will leave from St. Joseph church in Brecksville, Ohio. The bus cost is $50 per person.
