In Matthew 22:1-14, Jesus tells the parable of the wedding feast. He describes a king who invites guests to his son's wedding, but they refuse to come. The king then sends out servants to invite anyone they can find, both good and bad, to fill the banquet hall.
One man attends the feast without wearing the proper attire, and when questioned by the king, he is speechless. The man is then bound and thrown out into the darkness. This parable serves as a reminder that God's invitation to salvation is open to all, but we must come dressed in righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ. Just as the man without the proper attire was cast out, those who do not accept God's invitation with genuine repentance and faith will be excluded from the kingdom of heaven.
