The Bishops of the Catholic Church in America have launched initiatives to support marriage and family life, including the 2009 Pastoral Letter "Marriage: Love and Life in the Divine Plan" and the 2022 national pastoral framework "Called to the Joy of Love." In alignment with these efforts, our Eparchy of Parma is developing its own Marriage and Family program through the Marriage, Family, and Pro-life ministry.
We are excited to announce the next phase of our Marriage and Family program, which involves training certified facilitators across various regions of our Eparchy. Supported by a grant from the Catholic Marriage Initiative Fund, this program aims to equip facilitators with the skills needed to enrich the lives of married couples in our community.
These facilitators will organize events to support married couples, focusing on Christian communication and relationships. The training, conducted in collaboration with the PREP organization, will be held via Zoom from February 17-19, 2025. This interactive curriculum covers essential topics such as healthy communication, conflict management, and emotional support.
If you are interested in becoming a certified facilitator, please contact Judith Matsko, Eparchial Development Officer, at 216.741.8773 ext. 1225 or [email protected] immediately.
