This year’s Assembly will be held in the Eparchy of Parma at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Whiting, Indiana from July 16th through July 20th. All people of the Metropolia of Pittsburgh along with all people of good will are invited to attend the Assembly. This is a time to explore our faith, Worship as a united Church with our Metropolitan and bishops, learn from one another and grow in our mission to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

St. Mary’s was founded 1898 by Eastern European immigrants and has the distinction of being the oldest Eastern Catholic church in Indiana and Chicagoland. Today, the congregation represents five language groups and offers a multicultural and intergenerational experience of prayer and community, driven by its Accessibility to Beauty Project. St. Mary’s parishioners have put their church and volunteerism at the service of the Whiting-Robertsdale and beyond for over a century. Their vibrant parish life is embedded in the wider community, who warmly invites you to the North American Byzantine Catholic Assembly in 2025.
