Horizons funding campaign comes close to $10,000 mark

CHICAGO — Horizons’ 40 ^th-anniversary funding appeal raised $9,560 as of Oct.18, and donations continue to come in.

At this point in the campaign, Horizons would like to thank all of its donors for their generosity.

The one-month direct mail campaign was launched Sept. 1 to raise funds in support of Horizons’ growing communications apostolate, including its new media projects, such as the free “ParmaByz” app, and its brand-new video production arm, Horizons Media, both staffed part time by Byzantine Catholic young adults.

Donations can still be made online at https://parma.org/make-a-donation. To direct funds to Horizons, please choose “Horizons Fund” under “Purpose of Donation.” Every donation of $40 or more will be recognized with the gift of a free copy of “The Office of Repentance and Guide to Confession in the Byzantine Catholic Tradition” by Horizons Press.
