ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The Eastern Catholic Bishops of the United States gathered for their annual meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, March 6-7. The four active Byzantine Catholic Ruthenian bishops of the United States attended, including Archbishop William Skurla of Pittsburgh (
seated, far right), Bishop Kurt Burnette of Passaic (
seated, fourth from right), Bishop John Pazak of Phoenix (
standing, center), and Bishop Milan Lach, SJ, apostolic administrator of Parma (
standing, far right). Retired Bishop Gerald Dino of Phoenix also attended. He stands to the left of Bishop Pazak in the photo. The Ruthenian bishops held a meeting of their Council of Hierarchs in St. Louis March 5.
