Bishop Milan Visits St. Louis Mission for Holy Week

Arriving on Holy Wednesday, Bishop Milan presided a few short hours later over the Presanctified Liturgy followed by Holy Anointing. Each day parishoners celebrated the beautiful liturgies of Holy Week, but the mornings of Holy Friday and Holy Saturday were a first for this mission since these liturgies had not yet been celebrated here. Baskets were prepared for Pascha morning and Divine Liturgy was celebrated. It was a special time and gave parishoners a sense of connection to our church that they haven't previously experienced due to their location and history.
