CLEVELAND, Ohio — On Tuesday, February 4th, Bishop Milan visited Catholic students at Cleveland State University’s Newman Center. He had dinner with them and then gave a talk on the love of God in prayer and answered the students’ questions.
The bishop emphasized how integral prayer is to human life. It is what we are created for: for Love, who is the Trinity. He told the college students that when we live our lives breathing in the Spirit, through prayer, we are better able to make decisions and discern God’s will. He encouraged them to never give up when it comes to incorporating prayer into their lives.
Cleveland State Newman is a group of Catholic students on the campus of Cleveland State University devoted to deepening their Catholic faith. They meet at St. Peter’s Catholic Church weekly for Newman Nights. All students are welcome no matter where they are in their faith journey.
