Twenty-two women attended the Annual Eparchial Women’s Renewal, held October 25-27 at the St. Francis Spirituality Center in Tiffin, Ohio. In addition to members of the eparchy’s Greater Cleveland Area parishes, women came from the eparchy’s Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan parishes as well as the Ukrainian Eparchy of St. Josaphat and local Roman Catholic parishes. The renewal was co-sponsored by the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Parma and Dormition of the Mother of God Parish, Cleveland.

It was designed to give the women opportunities to refresh not only their spiritual lives but their physical ones, too. The post renewal evaluations showed that the women enjoyed the varied activities offered throughout the weekend. The spiritual leader for the renewal was Fr. Jerome Wolbert, who gave inspirational talks, celebrated services and was available for confessions during the renewal. He is a Byzantine Catholic priest, a Franciscan friar, a native of the Eparchy of Parma, (St Michael's in Flushing, MI) and currently living at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in Washington, DC.
