The boys and girls camps are coming up June 21-24. The theme is, “Apart from me you can do nothing” (Jn 15:5). Two campers from past years share their experiences below.
CLEVELAND — Boys camp, held at the Shrine of Our Lady of Mariapoch in Burton, Ohio, is a great way to be with other Byzantine Catholic boys and to get to know more about our faith. You also get to spend time alone with Christ and focus on dedicating your life to him. It feels amazing to wake up every day to go to Matins or Divine Liturgy.
Last year, we attended an ordination, which was a great experience, especially for the boys considering the priesthood. It was something I will always remember.
Girls camp, held at Christ the Bridegroom Monastery, has become a big part of my life. We enjoy our time together during the day, doing activities, engaging in personal prayer, and getting to know each other. There are about four talks on various vocations to help us in discerning God’s will for our lives.
Information and registration:
