Join the Marriage and Family ministry of the Eparchy of Parma for a Pre-Cana weekend on May 3-4, 2025, at St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Solon, OH, for a comprehensive marriage preparation course.

On April 3, 2025, the Installation Mass for Archbishop Robert G. Casey marked a historic moment as he became the 10th Metropolitan Archbishop of Cincinnati, with several Ohio bishops in attendance to show their support. The celebration highlighted the unity and faith of the Church as they welcomed Archbishop Casey into his new role.

On April 5, 2025, young adults from across the Eparchy gathered at the All Saints Shrine at Sacred Heart in Livonia, Michigan, for a day of prayer, Divine Liturgy, and fellowship, expressing a strong desire for more frequent gatherings to strengthen their faith and community.

As we move closer to the great Feast of Pascha, we continue in our process to identify the gifts given to us by God and ponder the ways in which we can respond to His generosity. Please remember the annual Stewardship Appeal as you prepare for the upcoming Feast of Pascha.

The Bishop’s Golf Classics will directly impact the four established funds of our Eparchial Foundation 1) development of parishes; 2) promotion of vocations and seminary formation; 3) support for active and retired priests; and 4) works of the apostolate.

This year’s Assembly will be held in the Eparchy of Parma at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Whiting, Indiana from July 16th through July 20th. All people of the Metropolia of Pittsburgh along with all people of good will are invited to attend the Assembly.

The 12th Annual Women’s Retreat at Our Lady of the Pines in Fremont, Ohio took place on March 8-9, 2025. Fr. Jan Maturkanic served as the Retreat Master.

The Catholic Bishops of Ohio urged the 136th General Assembly to uphold a consistent ethic of life by prohibiting state funding for abortion, euthanasia, and execution, and advocating for the abolition of the death penalty in favor of life without parole. They emphasized that taxpayer funds should advance the common good and support those in need, rather than undermine human dignity.
